A set of Soft Pastels is required.

We recommend:

OR

An alternative option of your choosing.

We recommend:

(1) Strathmore 500 Charcoal wirebound pad (24 sheets) 9 x 12”

AND

(1) Strathmore 400 series Pastel pad - 11” x 14” (24) sheets, assorted colors.

Brushes are NOT required, but we encourage participants to have at least one of the following brushes.

Sumi-ink brushes: size 2, size 4, size 6.

A water cup is NOT required, but the following is recommended with the use of brushes.

(1) Faber Castell Folding Watercolor Cup.

A portable, lightweight easel large enough to accommodate a 9” x 12” pad of paper.

If you choose not to bring an easel, a drawing board is required. We also recommend having a small blanket to sit on while you draw.

A Drawing board with clips, approx. 24” x 24” or comparable size.

We recommend having a large water bottle filled with drinking water.

A separate, full water bottle is required for use with the paints and cleaning brushes. (8-12 oz.)

We recommend:

Faber-Castell-Pitt compressed charcoal sticks (3) medium.

Faber-Castell Kneaded Eraser medium.

Holbein Tape 1/2” 60ft.

We recommend having a tote bag to carry your supplies.

Depending on the season, and the projected weather, we recommend having the appropriate hat and other apparel.
